God is powerful only in his (GOD IS A MENS BECUZ MENS IS UBER) limitation.

Absolutely yes to the statement (and in regards to the statement in parentheses, please grow up).
God, whether we're talking about the Christian god or any other deity, is representative of something higher and more powerful, obviously. Humans by evolutionary nature are made to fear that which is larger and more powerful. We know what to do when we encouter a physical threat, but our instincts are truly bewildered and limited when the threat is strictly psychological. As far as I know, unless the Bible is true, God has never actually done anything to anyone. He has been blamed and rationalized by billions, but in general, God is a big dog with no teeth (sort of like the UN). He governs by fear. He limits his followers by fear.

The very quote denies the existence of omnipotence.

Limitations are at the center of power. Limitlessness is powerless...to exist.
