Today it was revealed that British actor Daniel Craig will be the next James Bond in the 21st Bond film "Casino Royale". What does everyone think of this casting decision and if you don't like him being cast as Bond, who would you have cast?
I hope he brings a mixture of Pearce and Timothy..Tims more realistic situations and more Pearces women and crash bang wallop fantasy .. How this will be achieved i dunno... Maybe like the Bourne identity... No more post modern bull.. thanks. Though these things i wish for 'Bond' are within other films.. so i dunno what unique selling point can be derived anymore.. Maybe having a good actor as Daniel, will help.
omg even though i'm no big bond fan im abit shocked that moneypenney and m etc have been cut and no john cleese! how dull
im not a big fan of james bond, but i found it quite funny when i poked my nose into the daily mail earlier
lol when i was in subway today having a sarnie with my boyf we heard a person on the radio say they thought robbie williams would have been a better choice....lol....whaddya think?!?!?!
Yeh, I agree, no money-penny or Q and less gadgets, what's that all about.? It seems that the typical bond movies are going all soft for a much younger audience now. Bring back the hard, womaning, mysoginist Bond, that Brosnan was doing a great job playing. Did you know the original Bond smoked 80 cigarettes a day.
How can they leave out money-penny and Q? They are great parts of the Bond series. I wonder if M will still be in the next movie?
I think they won't have Q in any more of the movies. When the actor died, I think someone said something about not casting anyone else in the role out of respect, or because it just wouldn't seem like him anymore. Imagine Last Of The Summer Wine without Bill Owen as Compo.
So where is he from? Could do without another jocko or taffy bond, or worse still, aussie! Regarding Q, they don't need to re-cast Q - they have John Cleese as R. New character fulfilling the same role. Dunno about M - there's always been an M, if Judi Dench doesn't continue it then someone else will take over, and it'll be the same for moneypenny - might not be Samantha Bond this time but there will be a Moneypenny.

Here, he trained at the National Youth Theatre and graduated from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama (early 1990s). He made his film debut with The Power of One (1992) in 1992 as Sergeant Botha. ~Ten Most Recent Movies on record for Daniel Craig~ Casino Royale (2006) (pre-production) .... I love almost all the Bond movies, but to me, Sean Connery is the only true James Bond, there was just class in his acting that can't be compared to any of the others. As for the new Bond, I've never actually seen any of his movies.
No debate there. Connery was, in my opinion, the best Bond of them all. As far as the new movies go, they are okay, but you aren't missing much. Old school Bond is better, i think.
Scouse is a rather minging traditional dish, although I can't remember exactly what it is. And why should halloween cheer me up? Another year of little children picking up that awful american habit being encouraged to go out making demands of their neighbours. It's just impolite. I'd never send my children out on halloween, I'll give them chocolate myself and send them to a party or something instead.
