so last night i smoked out this guy again before we went to this rollin party
we were hittin the bong and out of no where he starts asking me about the grateful dead
we both really like the dead - cool
he then started talking about frank, man
how cool!
so, we were at this x party and he started playin zappa
(we didn't take x)
then he started talking about today...
he's...getting...acid

My bet would be yes- if that would score him the drugs.

On a side note- FZ was very much against recreational drug use. Judging by the lyrical content of much of his music he didn't need them.

man i dont like zappa much... ''hot rats'' is his only OK cd... But theres too much disco-cheesy sounds, and ''were only in it for the money'' is terribly bad. its like a comedy show with some crappy music in the background..

 

the cheesy things are deliberately cheesy, its mocking other cheesy things. he did some serious composition also, his 10 tone stuff was awsome.

 

yea. when he did MUSIC, it was good... hot rats has awesome jazzy fusionny stuff. like ''son of mr green genes'' is sweet...

But i havent heard another one of his CD that was like Hot rats, but theres also a terrible song on hot rats.. the one with vocals from capn beefheart

anyhoo, how about overnite sensation? musically one of his best. zappa live in new york is sensational.
