Because we can't do anything about it, and shouldn't anyway. I disagree with what a lot of people say; I disagree with almost every word out of every politician and pundit's mouth, but I really don't care what they say. If people are stupid enough to follow along with it, then that's the real problem. If not, then there's nothing to worry about anyway.

I applaud the protestors but the problem is that this has probably improved her bankability more than if she’d talked, the woman lives for controversy and her backers love her for it.

To me the problem isn’t with what she says (mainly she compensates for her lack of understanding or empathy on any subject by being childishly silly or spiteful) no, it’s the fact that she’s seen as part of the right wing mainstream by many US right wingers.

If you don’t believe me go along to Townhall.com, she’s just another right wing pundit there all of whom pump out very similar views to her own and many right wingers in the US agree with those views.

 

I am fully aware that these racist, sexist morons are respected by the racist, sexist morons that run places like that.

The fact that they have enough support to be considered mainstream speaks volumes about the 'mainstream'... at least to me...

 

I think you guys handled her very well. She didn't get to deliver her speech.

I was asked to go to her speech in London the other day, my roommate went, but I didn't want to pay money to say stuff at the bitch.

People should ignore her and not give her anymore attention with the loud voice she already has.

I'm amazed that she hasn't been thoroughly discredited yet. What would it take? I hope she gets caught up in something so scandalous she goes the way of Joe McCarthy, but since she herself is not a politician it's going to be difficult.

 

Unfortunately, she does have another date to speak here in canada.

Even if she didn't though, her stupidity is already shared by many.... many of whom I seem to have got myself into conversations with today on other threads.

 

It's further evidence that mainstream thinkers have deserted the Republican Party. They don't have many people left who are not on the extreme far right. It's a scary thing to watch, but this is a sign of a dying party.
