I could only tolerate about a minute of this before I felt the urge to puke. giant ass kissing maybe they were held at gun point? feminists seem to have a taste for drinking their own lemon aid. I don't owe women an apology, or a god-damned thing simply because I'm a man. That any woman would expect or feel entitled to an apology from all men for their existence is ridiculous and disgusting I suppose one could also find women who could also be coaxed into reading off a script of like absurdity. people who have mistreated other people are the only people that owe anyone an apology, whether they are men or women. deal with it
I got to 30 seconds. This is awful. Why on earth would anyone want someone to apologise to women simply for being male? What anyone has done before we were born is not our fault, and implying it is is absurd and twisted. I find this highly disturbing. I am not part of any bundle called "feminine energy" which is being oppressed by "masculine energy". This talk is superstitious nonsense and it's about time we grew out of it. Of course men and women should be respected equally. This is old news to those with brains and doesn't need anything mystical attaching to it.
that's part of the "Manifesto for Conscious Men." a strange document that gives a massively one sided view that men are solely perpetrators and women have perpetually been victims throughout history - a myth that many women's rights movements have also been hiding behind for decades i've read the "manifesto" several times ... for those of you who didn't make it through this eight minute movie the gist of the message is that "man should make the surpreme noble act and take on board shame for actions by man throughout history" nobody should preach that shame replace spirit and nobody should judge any gender/race/species collectively absolutely pathetic
Agreed. It's absolutely ludicrous with very little of it based in reality or fact. With ideology like this, it's a wonder these extremists haven't read Animal Farm. This video offends me.
Hey, at least they are loving toward women and respectful. It's much nicer than having a group of boys/men saying all these sexist comments... gotta look on the positive side :2thumbsup:
I understand that but why would you want a man to say sorry for being a man? Honestly. Would you want to apologize for being a lady? I wouldn't.
As a male feminist, I take offense to this notion. Yes, their message is positive, but it comes from a premise that all men should feel apologetic to women just because we are men. In other words "male guilt" and that my friend is wrong, and frankly don't do a thang to resolve chauvinistic or otherwise unfair views towards women. Whenever you put one sex on an higher pedestal than the other, resentment and a sense of superiority is sure to follow. My $.02
