    That's cool!

It looks like the "tree" from the injection molder got caught up in the molding and packaging of your spoon.

The larger problem here is that you went to Dairy Queen in the first place.

since they dont serve ice cream i dont see how that's is possible.....here is the dq full menu for north America....please link me where it says they sell ice cream :)

"Our soft-serve does not qualify to be called ice cream. To be categorized as ice cream, the minimum butterfat content must be 10 percent, and our soft-serve has only 5 percent butterfat."

    wake up people :)

The spoons are molded in strips of about 20 on either side of that T shaped ladder bar. The spoons are then sheared off and he bars are put back into the plastic bath.
Due to being thicker, the bar is still hot and soft. Sometimes it bends, goes the wrong way along the production line and gets twisted up among the spoons.
Looking at the way the plastic leeched at the tip of the spoon, I suspect that the molten plastic was running hot. Perhaps the guy running the machine in China was only 7 years old.!!!!

I like mint chocolate chip ice cream once in awhile--or, rather, I used to.

But truthfully, I just plain don't care for ice cream. Is that weird?

If it's chocolate, I typically like it no matter what form it comes in.

    Except mint. Not chocolate mint.

    Really.

    Get that away from me.

    careful calling it defective

    you might offend someone here
