how many of you have experienced "deja vu". this happens to me often, strange thing is i have had dreams and woken up and experience the dream in real life weeks/years later. its always been on my mind and it happens a lot. i have no reason to lie over this and i am wondering if anyone knows what I'm talking about.. please respond.
I've had deja vu on and off over the years... usually means I getting close to some life changing situation. (The life changing situation never has anything to do with the deja vu situations though) I've never been able to trace where the original thought remembered happened, in other words deja xu isn't having a dream and then 2 days later seeing it happen... That's prophetic dreaming. I've had a few of those too.
i dont think you are understanding what i am trying to say. i understand that everyone has deja vu, but this isnt the same thing, i remember everything that is happening at a random time, and for about 5 to 8 seconds or less what is going to happen right after. This remember this happening around age 7 or 8, i started noticing it ask my father and i was told "deja vu". I believed it up until i was 14 and then i started to remember dreams i would have, even nightmares, waking up realizing how weird they were, it was a 5 second skit that was blurry, but when it happened in front of me 5 to 7 months later i remembered it vivid, but i wasn't scared this time, in my dream i only saw one part in life i see everything, the events leading up to what happened were fine, but the scary part in my dream was just a joke my friend was saying in a funny deep voice. the longest flash iv ever had was on lsd when i was 16 it was very interesting no longer 15 seconds but everything slowed down and the i snaped out of it as if i were day dreaming on lsd, im sorry if you cannot understand what i am saying most people dont, although i am not some crazy person who this they can read the future because i have no idea when or wheres its gonna happen until i see things that remind me of the dream, and then when i do it tends to happen withing 5 to 10 mins, but like i said i just see a 5 to 10 second skit of whats happening.
if your interested http://www.dreammoods.com/dreaminformation/dreamtypes/propheticdreams.htm thank you a lot its been a question iv been trying to put together but no one knows what i was talking about i have searched it but could never describe it the right way.
I have deja vu fairly often. I find deja vu fascinating. The familiar feeling that deja vu brings is sort of comforting to me. I also have had 'deja vu dreams.' A couple of years ago I dreamt about the life I'm living now which didn't make sense at the time. Certain things have been happening in my life recently and I'll remember that I dreamt them a couple of years ago..
i have deja vu often, my crown chakra is good i think. one time which was mind blowing i actually saw the present unfold almost like a play, i knew exactly what the people i was with were going to say and even muttered under my breathe the exact words as they said it. I didn't have a premonition but out of the blue i just knew what was going to happen
yes that what i always thought i was, deja vu, see if this fits the desciption of what has happend because it is very intreging im happy you have and idea of what i am saying. http://www.dream-interpretation.org.uk/types-of-dreams/prophetic-dreams.htm
yes i have done this many times this is what i am talking about, it is quite amazing is it not? the muddering of the breath is something i have done, when i started catching on to it in my dream i would play games, what i mean is i would try to knock off the course of it when i realized it was happening but instead i ending up doing exsactly what i saw by trying to make it a diff outcome as if i knew i was going to make it differnt the whole time. http://www.dream-interpretation.org.uk/types-of-dreams/prophetic-dreams.htm look up on it, it is really interesting
Deja vu is usually a sign that the universe is trying to tell you something. You are more in-tune with your intuitive side then you think. Always make a note of when these things happen. And if I were you, I'd try and tap into that intuition more.
this is what i have been thinking, i have been trying to find ways to tap in i posted this for someone who knows what im speaking of to tell me ways of taping in and if they have tried. i am thinking of meditation and other things.
I haven't tried for this reason but start a dream journal, much of our dreaming is forgotten normally. Also search "Lucid dreaming" that's where you take control of the dream... That might help.
ok thank you, and i personaly believe we all can do this one way or another its all about the makeup of your brain and what parts you use. i will keep in touch and i was recommend a dream journal today so i am also going to do that

For years and YEARS, I tried lucid dreaming (tho' I didn't always "know"/have the vocabulary for what it was), and you know what? I just CANNOT damn do it!!! grrrr and Each and every time I begin to realize I am dreaming, and attempt to "take control", I wake up! period. Do you think perhaps some people just aren't able to achieve this? I DO have very vivid dreams (which I know we have discussed on another thread)...and I do NOT think they are all "just dreams"...but more communications. I just wondered what you thought of this...and regarding the OP (sorry everybody)...the times I've experienced what I considered deja vu would be when I would actually experience something I would have dreamed literally usually years before...and suddenly...as whatever was happening, I would know what was going to be...but it would occur always under "plain" circumstances, and years from the time I dreamed about it...if that makes sense...so I guess I wasn't even having deja vu, huh...but "way down the line" prophetic dreaming? This is an interesting thread.
read the website i have posted it will help u get more in tune with it and give u many steps to help it, lynnbrown, your are explaining what i was explaining so i know u understand what i mean, those sites have helped me so far i am starting to do a test to see if i can make it improve, it does say lucid dreaming may not be for everyone but it also says everyone can do it... very confusing but i like the challenge of figuring this out that way, i can try to help other people figure it out. but the key thing is its all in your head and you control it all, just dont forget that.
Great responses, everyone! I also have dreams that come true years later. I get a LOT of a deja vu, too. I have a lot of issues with my pyschic side - it scares me and I try not to use it. But I feel like it comes through anyway.
