Delete a post?

is there ANY possible way to delete a post?! I posted this short story i made a while back... but now i have an opportunity to post this story on another side, and actually get paid for it... so, i attempted to do so, but it claims this store is unoriginal and copyrighted because i posted it here! and i have no way of proving this is my account apparently... so, i need this post deleted! hooow?... i tried reporting it, but it doesnt work... and its a few months old so i cant even edit it...

 

oh cool... i reported it as "copyrighted, remove at once" hahahaa... and it litterally got removed less than a minute later! that was extremely fast! didnt think that worked...

 

It's generally frowned upon to use the moderators as your personal clean-up crew.

 

oh i see... well then maybe they should put in a delete button? :/

 

Determining what "should" be done is something that can be pointlessly debated.... the fact is that the deletion was made on the assumption that the post was a copy of previously copyrighted material which clearly it wasn't and the report was either made on false pretenses or the request needed better clarity.

I'm glad you found that your deception worked to be amusing. Clearly you misunderstand the intent of the "report post" function- or you do and deliberately abused it. Clearly the moderator who acted in good faith on the false pretense was regrettably in error- but that can be rectified as well

 

Sometimes the moderator has no clue what the hell your talking about..
reports come via email, and I dont have email alert..
