Determine quality by sight?

I always hear my friends talking about how good their weed looks, but I'm wondering, how can you tell visually if it's quality bud? I mean, I know to avoid brown sh*t, but is there something else?

 

I think it more by smell and touch then sight to make an evaluation.

 

usually if it's lighter green, has lots of hairs, and is crystally it's good bud

 

usuaily tricomes, hairs, and no seeds are quilties of good weed

 

recently, i got an eight for 40 of shiiity looking bud, with shake coming off and everything but it was some really good stuff, was able to get high off two or three hits.

 

You can tell the general quality of bud by looking/smelling it, but the only way to truly know is to have yourself a toke.

 

The best stuff ive EVER smoked looked like schwag, and smelled like schwag, but it definetly wasn't schwag.

 

best stuff i had was white hydro. 2 hits i was faded.

 

That pretty much sums it up. Not always though.

 

THC crystels,also tuch and smell play a BIG part if the bud is sticky thats a good sign,smell if i smells stronge also the type if its sweeter more flowery/fruity smell,it probably sativa, if its more skunky its probably indica,when ever i get bud i look at it tuch it and smell to make sure its good and also the strain(i hate indica, and wont buy it unless its the only thing i can get at the moment),and best test of all SMOKING IT

 

deadonceagain, just outta curiosity, why do you hate indica?

 

I don't like Indica for multiple reasons, it's more of a body high and I enjoy mind highs much more...the smell is just repulsive and it's very harsh on the lungs.

 

i can smoke like 4 or 5 bowls and my body is just weird, i dont feel like im stoned enough,it smells and tasts like icky,i cough like crazy from it, its very harsh on the lungs and i dislike body highs,ive done oxycodone(and other opaites) and while all my firends love it i think it sucks,i like mind highs better,ill smoke a half a joint of sativa and be realy fucking high laughing like crazy listening to music is juust nuts, ill smoke 3 joints of indica and feel nothing speacial and just want to go to bed,also sativa make me more happy and laugh which helps with my anxiety more then indica,some people say sativa gets them more paronid but thats never happend to me, and i can be active when on sativa,indica i just fall asleep, i can spend 20$ on a gram of AWESOME sativa be so stoned i cant tell my ass from the ground havign the time of my life,or smoke a gram of indica and be whishing i didnt even buy weed and saved my 20$ for something else

 

I have seen & smelled weed that looked and smelled wonderfull and potent but was so low potency you hardly got high.
We called it pretendica.
