Ok - some of you may seen some of my threads about coming out - first of all - thank you for the advice. Last week i did it - came out to my parents - OMG - couldn't believe that i achulie did it - such a relief and to be myself - finilie I am quite pleased that they achulie took better then i thought i mean i thought that i was going to have to avoid them for a fue weeks but after a fue days life just went back to normal. Other peoples experance is problie different but my advice is. - If you are ready and want to come out - go for it - it may not be as bad as you first think.
What the hell? This place is like ghostown... Why has no one else posted??? Congrats man!!! That's awesome. I know how nerve-wracking it is to gather up the courage to tell your parents. It's awesome that they took it well. I still haven't told my father, just my mom and sisters. It's awesome to be able to tell someone so you can just be yourself without being asked all these awkward girl questions.

I'm 46, and came out to my Dad just last July 23rd, and his response was, "It's about time you are out of the damn closet!" My older Brother is Gay, and partnered.
congrats man. It takes guts to tell your parents. I still havent talked with my dad, but planning to. My mom took it well, but isnt convinced yet. Some people never get it i guess, ha. I hope things keep working out for you.
