Did man ever make it to the moon?

Well if its on the internet, its got to be true.............WOW that has changed my world.

 

My belief is yes, it wouldn't be that hard to send a man to the moon, and it fits right into the technological progression before and since . Plus, my grandfather was deeply involved in the Apollo program,and he believes it to be true.

 

I was hoping this stuff wouldn't start on this forum.

You can borrow all the Apollo tapes from your library or NASA and watch all of the missions from start to finish.

Borrow the videos from the library and NASA. The entire missions are on video from start to finish. I've already watched them.

People today should study, get a degree, work, and so something productive for the country like people in the 60s did instead of wasting money and squandering time on conspiracy theories.

There's a handful of people in the 90s that started this Moon mission conspiracy thing. All the rest are just copying the original perpetrators.

The handful of people who started this had an ideological biff with the U.S. govt and are trying to belittle the Apollo missions as a way of venting their frustrations with the government.

Some of the others are religious groups which feel that men going to the Moon spoiled their literal interpretation of the Bible which states life only exists on Earth. People on the Moon marred this interpretation, so some of these groups now claim that people never went to the Moon. Buzz Aldrin and Armstrong are regularly harassed by religious fanatics. Aldrin actually punched a religious nut in the face who shoved a Bible in his face, and Armstrong has religious fanatics trespassing on his property regularly.

The rest are just people trying to make a quick buck off of their conspiracy theories.

The upshot of the congressional inquiry was that the entire Apollo program was in shambles and it was a miracle no one was killed sooner. All of the problems were supposedly fixed by 1969, just two years later. How could they have made such a large improvement in "quality control" in such a short period of time.

I believe that one to be a bunch of bull.
I took a class that focused soley on moon missions we watched like 5 different videos about that incident. You should probably look more into the missions before you get so paranoid.

 

Did you ever see the HBO series called "Mission to the moon"? I thought it was a very interesting series. From what I learned in class it seemed that they were pretty accurate...I was just wondering if you thought they were accurate or not....

I haven't seen that one, so I can't really comment on its accuracy. I have videos from NASA TV. It's mainly the raw footage of the Apollo missions. Moon Shot was another documentary on TV a few years back that was accurate.

I met Jim Lovell at a conference a few years back and watched a presentation he did about Apollo 13. He always struck me as a very rational person with a lot of plain common sense. A nice person too. He was one of the three people who left earth orbit for the first time on Apollo 8.

CBS did a real disservice by airing an Apollo conspiracy film a few years ago. They later apologized about it.

Nasa astronauts placed a beacon on the moon ...and it sends signals back too this day.. these records can be dated back to the time of the landings..its a real dull fact..The moon landings happened and were not faked at all.Their was a brilliant documentary about it a while back.. all the normal conspiracys were solved

It was all a bit disapointing realy , i wanted their to be a vast complex conpiracy..but thie is none.
