Did you ever want to cancel your HipForums account..

... because you hated your nickname?

That's sort of thing I'm thinking about...

I hate my nickname (actually, those four years ago when I registered I didn't take it much seriously) and wanna change it but still I don't want to get back to "less than 1000 posts"

What do you think?

 

nah i've had this name for years.

i think i had one or two alter egos a while ago.

but its been nesta since middleschool even before i came to this site.

this is me. i'm not tired of the name, either.

i have considered changing it lately, though. just for a change of pace though, not because i have any dislike for the name

 

I was MoonjavaSeed for a few years, but made another account in 05 (this one)...

I also had 10 000+ posts, and it embarrassed me.

Now and then I switch back...

Make a new account. Get drunk. Post shit for a few hours. Okay 6 hours. Bingo. Job done.

heh! i have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more posts than my current count shows. i had 10,000+ at one point. then, mysteriously (skip couldnt give an answer when i asked, but its not like its a big deal) my post count all of a sudden showed up in the negative, without any being even deleted. it was really strange.

so yeah, its embarassing, but i've got a ton of posts

 

well I could start some thread just to raise my new post account ... good idea

 

they should implement a once a year option to change your handle. everything else stays the same, just a name change.

 

When you decide on a new one....just ask Skip..I'm pretty sure its possible to just have him change your username and keep everything else the way it is
