What exactly is the difference between shrooms and LSD tabs in terms of effects and how to use them? And are shrooms less addictive/potent?
neither are addictive mentally or physically, and neither can kill you, prviding you pick the right mushies. shrooms last around 6 hours, and lucy about 8 or so but theres lots of nice after effects. i could be a bit wrong about the times though but shrooms are less long, some people say more spiritual.
neither are addicting, but both can be very intriging. for me shrooms have a more emotional reaction and lsd has been kind of a cosmic mindfuck...more intellectual. ...well maybe not, the difference is difficult to describe, im not sure i know the words to accuratly communicate the difference. their similar yet very different. as far as spiritual tripping is concerned acid has always been my favorite...but its personal prefrence really. every psychedelic has its own vibration and everyone has their own ally i suppose.
the two can have very similar effetcs if an equivalent dose is taken. At time on a low shroom trip like 2 grams, I got confused, what I was experiencing was a low lsd dosage, right after the peak. There were only very slight differences in the visuals and all. and shrooms can be much more intense as lsd, as the opposite too. Depends on the dose, but its easier to take alot with lsd (putting 2-3 pieces of paper in your mouth) than eating 7 grams of mushrooms. Also shrooms comer up in about 90 mins opposed to the double or a bit less with lsd, so they can seem more intense in the come up. So say 1/8 would be equal to 2 hits of some blotter, the shrooms will seem stronger than the lsd while goin up all the way, but you reach the same intensity
you've never done either?? just as I suspected. no wonder you believe Bush honestly, shrooms and lsd are some real agents of mind liberation; they just show you what reality is, without the socially programmed filters; the rest is up to you. you make up your own mind. LSD is more potent by mass, but shrooms can intensify in effect with higher dosages, lsd plateaus. both are great for enhancing creativity, and forcing you to re-evaluate the way you see yourself, and the world around you. LSD lasts from 8 - 12 hours, shrooms typically last up to 6. Some shrooms are much more potent than others (i.e. liberty caps, azurescens, and cyanescens), with high dosages being around a gram; cubensis is by far the most commonly available variety around, with dosages ranging from 1.5 grams to over 8. visual effects are similar, but they're different; LSD causes objects to form trails/streamers, and colors may be enhanced. Shrooms make the walls breathe, and create paisley-like patterns with eyes closed. Both can also create geometric imagery with higher doses. Music sounds deeper/richer, and may sound completely different at very high doses, on either lsd or shrooms.. Tactile (touch hallucinations) are also apparent, with tingling sensations on the skin, as if spiders are crawling on you. Mixing of senses (synaesthesia), like hearing green, may also occur with both. out of all the drugs out there, shrooms and lsd are among the least physically harmful; they make tylenol look really toxic.
there are many, many good things about psychedelics, but just because they aren't physically dangerous or addictive doesnt mean they're entirely benevolent. they are NOT for everybody. psychedelics are only useful when used as a sort of tool. in the hands of the misguided, the uninformed, the ignorant, the -dare i say- bad, they can be quite negative. of course every trip has the hallmarks of an unreal or supernatural/mystical experience, including bad trips, but that doesn't make them inherently beneficial or useful. given a series of many shallow trips, you can also be deluding yourself further and further....some people are changed in a negative way forever by tripping a lot for a long period of time without any benefit. this isn't necessarily going crazy or being burned out....its something very "different" about them that cannot be explained. then again, there are also a number of people who really do reach new levels of brilliance, creativity, enlightenment (though i hesitate to use such a word), and spiritual purity through the aid of psychedelics. but you have to already have such inclinations, simply taking a psychedelic will NOT turn you into a saint... psychedelics are tools. with the right direction they can be among the most genuine and wonderful spiritual experiences humans have encountered; with the wrong direction they can be one of the more unwholesome, disturbing, and unhealthy ways to spend your time and money. everyone is different.
I think its all different for everyone. I hear a lot of people say shrooms and acid are the same, but with my experiences I find them very different.. Really it just depends on the person. And I think just having a trip is addictive, for me everytime I trip I want to stay there ya know.. So if I had lots of money and the drugs available it would be bad. But still thats just me.. They affect everyone differently because our brains are not the same.
aaaah.....off topic but....umm....would that be you in your sig pic? and if so....um...will you marry me?
Haha.. Well I'm flattered, yes it is me. But... no. =P I've got what I want, don't take it personally. =P
