so, after a seemingly endless search of shrooms, i hav located some but the guy wants 60 for an 1/8th!!!! i think this is such bullshit but iv been wanting to trip for soooo long. he says they are super good home-grown shrooms. i was wondering if it is possible for different strains of shrooms to have different strengths? like a half 1/8th of a certain type will trip u out the same as a whole 1/8th of some other type. so is this possible? or do they all contain equal amounts of psylocybin?
60 is way too much, no matter what strength the most ill ever pay is 40/8th, and thats only when im really cravin some mush
60 is waaay overpriced. if you can find different shrooms somewhere else i would wait, but if this is the only connect your not gonna be disappointed if you bought them. and to answer your question there are actually different quality shrooms, usually shrooms when their caps arent as open, are more potent. ive seen people eat an 1/8th of some shitty shrooms and have a decent trip, but theyll eat a half of an 1/8th of some good shit and trip balls. still 60 is alot of money.
"really good homegrown" is a way for unscrupulous dealers to make extra money off of rubes. its almost a sure thing they are homegrown. most mushrooms sold on the black market in most of the US are homegrown. homegrown is actually usually inferior to wildcrafted. homegrown mushrooms are almost always psilocybe cubensis, and almost always grown via the PF tek. often they are also grown other ways which will produce stronger mushrooms than the PF tek, but save the uncommon practice of adding chemicals such as tryptamine, DMT, etc. to the substrate they will very rarely be significantly STRONGER than mushrooms grown outdoors. perhaps AS strong, but not stronger. in the wild there are MANY species of psychedelic mushrooms, and several (in the pacific northwest primarily) are stronger than cubensis. cubensis is more common, though, and it is the easily identified mushroom that grows on dung (though there are many other mushrooms which ALSO grow on dung, so its nowhere near certain that if you find mushrooms on shit they'll make you trip instead of kill you) dung is one of the most nutrient-rich materials that cubensis mushrooms can grow on, and produce the best mushrooms. this CAN be done indoors, but it will only even out the potency between homegrown and wild, not surpass it. growing mushrooms on grains requires next to no money. the mushrooms aren't "free," like they are if you wildcraft them, but they are damn near next to free, and in my opinion charging more than 15 bucks for an eighth of dried cubes is highway robbery. i've known people who wanted to buy mushrooms off of me for 30-40 dollars an eighth because they knew "dumb rich kids who will pay anything for mushrooms because they don't know where else to get it" as it was put to me. i almost never sell mushrooms for anything, but i relented and let them buy some for 20 an eighth (they insisted on paying more than 15) on the condition that they wouldnt sell them for more than twice what they paid... i have grown my own a number of times for personal use, but every once in a while someone might find out you have access to mushrooms and will beg, borrow or steal to get them. what people dont realize is that its cheap, easy, and discrete to just grow your own at home, and pay next to nothing for them and have PLENTY for personal use and some to share with friends once in a while. basically i'm saying you shouldnt pay 60 bucks for them. its nowhere near worth it. if you can't find reasonably priced shrooms, don't buy them. this might mean waiting a couple years until your older, and then just going about learning to grow them yourself. THIS will be worth it!
Your drug dealer is probably trying to rip you off, but there's always a small chance that he is being honest. If I were buying illegal mushrooms with drugs in them, then I would think that Panaeolus cyanescens, for example, might be worth twice as much as Psilocybe cubensis, for another example. However, this guy is probably trying to pass off P. cubensis as something special. If he really did have something great that he's growing, then he probably has cubensis too, in which case, he'd probably keep the good ones for himself. That is what I would do, at least. Anyway, it usually only takes a few good questions to smell through somebody's bullshit. Read up about cultivatable mushrooms and ask him what species they are. If he doesn't know and just says that they are better, using his own personal experience as a testimony, then remind him that personal experiences are subjective and that you are interested more in science. It never amazes me how much random dumbasses think they know about mushrooms; this is a common phenomenon. Just the other day, while I was camping, some guy told me that he knows so much about mushrooms that he practically has his "associates degree in botany."
yeah i know thats an INSANE price, but iv been wanting to trip for soooo long and i havent been able to get a hookup going for at least a month. can u buy spores from headshops? im considering growing my own
I'm sure there's at least one somewhere that does, but the internet is probably cheaper and more reliable. spores101.com is a great site that I would never use because I am against drugs.

Dude forget expensive...if you want to do them do them....I would walk to Peru to see a Phish concert. If he's the only one with connections pay a little extra, Go big or go home....you feelin me. If its worth the risk go for it....get pumped up man it will be worth it.........unless you get caught...hahaha. I hope you make a good choice
there are wood loving mushys that are stronger than grain loving, but thoughs are rare to find home grown i'm pretty sure due to the fact that it's a lot of work to grow them. It will cost you 60-100 to make your own grow kit that will grow around 2 oz before you have to refill your kit. cost about 20 to refil your kit i think. but be warned it can take up to 2 months for them to grow.
my dealer grows shrooms and half and eighth makes me shit that isnt actually there... there helllllla good but he only charges 25 an eighth.
