I have already been schooled in my last thread regarding how dreads are clean clean clean, possibly cleaner than Mr. Clean himself. However, this entire "reattaching dreads" and "dreads falling out" thing has me second guessing. After all, I have had mid waist length hair and I washed it every other day. I did not have entire clumps or locks falling out or off of my head. Therefore, if you are into dreads and have entire locks falling off, what is the reason? Why the need to reattach? If you are regularly cleaning your hair, the dreads should be staying put.
This Thread Is So Steeped In Dumbassness, Even An Angry GLEN Can't Bring Himself To Explode All Over The Screen...:banghead: Jeers Glen.
did you actually read the reattaching dreads thread? the guy cut them off 5 years ago, saved them, and wants to put them back in like some sort of strange weave or something. weird, but completely different from falling out due to dirtiness.
Everytime i say a bad word one of my dreads falls off. Shit is mad annoying... DAMN IT! Damn it.... ...damn it! Fuck, now look at me.:hat:
I have no experience with dreads, and don't know anyone with dreads either, but my guess is that since hair falls off naturally to be replaced by new hair, that's the reason. I assuem that after a few years of having a dread, the hair gradually falls.. I don't know if I'm right though. But I'm sure they don't fall off because of dirtyness.
Have you ever felt dreadlocks? They are HEAVY especially as the mature or grow longer, the hair at the roots stays semi undreaded and therefore can snap under pressure. Ends can snap off from being too dry as the shampoo or whatever is used to wash the dreads contains no mosituriser like the shampoo you would use on straight/soft hair does. Then there is the way dreads form, you may have a thin root area and a thicker middle/end, as these get heavier (especially when WASHING, like people with dreads do regularly), there is chance of snappage.. You cant compare your hair to dreaded hair, although maybe losing some clumps next time yoi shower will stop these god damned idiotic questions. Stop making assumtions. You, sir, are a douche. There was probably no point in writing this reply because you will find something to pick at, no doubt
Just so you know, the hairs that fall free from the scalp usually stay in the lock that they are tangled up in. I don't clog up the shower drain the way I used to and no stray hairs on the bed/floor anymore. The new hair that has grown in is pretty awesome because it in hair that is younger than four years old and has never known a comb. They're forming new locks all over the place. I've had little bits of tips come off, but usually because a strange ball formed that was connected by only a few hairs and it got dried out because I use bronners or baking soda to wash. It's never anything substantial and I wouldn't even bother with trying to reattach the shit. Entire locks should not be falling off of yer head... I dunno what that's about. What's up with dude... does he just not understand that people can refrain from combing their hairs and somehow still manage to wash themselves properly?
I haven't been around much... I thought as much, but I usually like to play it straight up. This is why I ask questions.
Thank you for the nomination consideration, but I am not a troll. It is obviously a word used too loosely on forums, and for all the wrong reasons. Have a great weekend.
When people talk about their dreads falling out, it is usually someone who has backcombed or poorly TnR and the dread loosens up and falls out because new dreads don't have the locking power that a mature dread has.
I don't think he is a troll. I actually feel kinda bad for him really. Ignorance is no joke. Poor fella probably had never heard of Google... or respect for that matter. I pity you sir. Get well soon. :/
