Disaster!!

I recently recieved an unaccpetablly wet oz from a large deal. Nothing could be done except to dry and lose plenty of grams to water weight. Then my naive mind decided to store it in an air tight jar. BAM! Two days later, mold, and it was a large white cloud on one bud and plenty of little dots on the others. Im not ready to give up! So please, I call upon the greatest weed connoisseurs and afficienados to develop a solution to my dilemma. Can I extract to BHO? or Hash? maybe a butter? how do I kill this mold and make this weed usable! I really hope i dont have to ask my science professor.

once mold hits......your pretty much screwed......you can try and salvage the unaffected buds but gl with that. Mold spreads surprisingly quick through buds. Better luck next time man.

I've extracted moldy weed with BHO, works fine! Mold has no oils so solvent goes right past it:=)

 

Time for butane extraction! And by butane I mean ethnic, and by extraction I mean cleansing!

I would lay the oz. to rest and make sure the stuff is dry next time.

 

i lost approx 1 kilo of fine outdoor organic weed to mold thanks to the inexperience of friends harvesting in my absence. i dried it out, pulversied it in a blender and extracted the THC with butane. A phoenix from the ashes, it was mind blowing stuff, but only about 10g from 1000g. it can be done!

 

Damn! It probably depends on the amount of butane you use, but I tell you an oz of actual bud could at least have ya 3 grams. Id use at least 4 bottles with an ounce and get 4 grams of very light oil.

 

get some bubble bags and make hash it wont be effected by the mold
