Diverting Water from the Great Lakes

    Well, it looks like the states bordering the Great Lakes want to divert water from them in order to sell to more drought-prone states in the midwest. Bad--very bad.

    the only solution i can think of is to poison the water with a constant supply of sludge. and the states has always been wanting to do that, thats why we, as canadians with the largest reserve of fresh water in the world are their traditional allies. they steal oil from other countries for us and sell it to us relatively cheap, and we in turn let them drink water. for quite some time water bottling companies weren't even charged for using up great swaths of our water...they could take as much as they wanted and the only costs they'd incur were the costs of bottling shipping and refining the water. it wanst untill maybe a year ago that a bill was introduced that makes them pay for the actual water they were taking, so essentially the states already had access to our water supply.
