so i tried to copy paste a glu32.dll to fix a game crash i was having (or at least attempt to fix it) however 9 or so seconds after i paste it, it goes from 136 kb back to the original 114 kb so how do i stop this from happening?

Maybe it automatically concatenates it to a defined size. But I really don't know a lot about C:\CON\CON... lol
Is the game, by any chance, pirated? If so... that explains it. If not, you might want to try to extract the file from the CD through Winrar or try to do it through Windows Explorer.
i think the reason is that i have xp, which has windows file protection. i did the instructions to shut it off but of course those didnt work >.<
