I am 30 years old and cant get enough of dmb. I know there is a lot of people who dont like them. Im looking for people who enjoy Carter's musicial style as much as me. Dmb is the only band I can listen to everday. People say that they are to coporate well A MAN AS GOT TO EAT. I think it was great of them to give a free concert in central park to raise money for music and art in the NYC schools.
My dad bought me under the table and dreaming in '94 (he said listen to this band I think you'll like them) and I've been hooked on them ever since. I love every album they've done. I don't give a fuck how popular they've become.....I think their music is beautiful.
I've been a fan for about 10 years now... I've been to many many shows, and collected even more bootlegs... but, they just aren't holding my attention the way they used to. I've got alot of hope for the new album.
I remember my dad and his friend taking me to DMB shows back when I was like... three. And he's from Charlottesville and played a lot around the VA/DC area, but I have to admit, I like his concerts with tim reynolds more than the full band concerts.
