Hey guys, im not new to the whole "trance music" scene, but never really listened to much drum and bass, could anyone hook me up with some decent artists/tracks for me to check out? Heard a couple of dnb tracks the other day and I thought they were pretty good.

    Cheers!

High Contrast... essential for DnB listening, as is Roni Size and LTJ Bukem.
Then of course we go for a bit of Breakage... he's a bit more Jungle, but still mixes well.
For cheesy jump-up... gotta go for things like Pendulum, Mampi Swift and so on.

Personally I like more nasty twisted extreme drum and bass kinda ting, stuff with a bit more intelligent production techniques. Labels like Freak, Position Chrome, Outbreak, Tech Itch Recordings, Commercial Suicide etc etc
Nasty and heavy but without a beat that goes kick~~~snare~~~~~kick~snare~~~kick~~~snare~~~~~kick~snare~~~ keeps it a bit more interesting and technical. Check out some of those labels above^^

My friend is into those labels... he is a proper junglist at heart.
