Do compliments make you feel uncomfortable?

I usually don't like to be complimented about my looks. It makes me feel uncomfortable and I can't help but think of that person as a liar. I would rather be complimented for anything else but my appearance.

How about you?

i love receiving them, as long as they are genuine

i only give genuine complements - you can tell by how i word the statement.

 

they make me feel neither comfortable nor uncomfortable.

but they do make me smile.

 

it depends on many things.

almost everything involving interaction with others makes me slightly uncomfortable, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad feeling...

 

I don't like compliments. It's like what are you supposed to say in reply? I like thank you allot better... it's plain and simple.

Oh I don't care if people compliment other's looks. I even do that. I just don't want to be complimented that way because I don't believe it. *shrugs*

 

yes, but i accept them anyway.

 

I don't flip out over it. I usually thank the person and try to change the subject rather quickly.

 

on behalf of everyone that will click on your name and look at your gallery and think you're pretty ..... we resent the implication.

 

I usually will get really embarrassed when someone compliments me. Not just looks wise but basically anything, I was complimented by one of the big attorney's here on one of my motions I wrote and I was like so embarrassed, I just giggled and turned red.

I usually dont believe most compliments either.

they dont really affect me either way. I have this thing where I really dont care what people think about me, so things like that just kinda go in one ear and out the other.
