Do cops tap phones AFTER they arrest someone?

    OK, so heres the deal. I just called up this guy and asked if he could get me "the rest of those doses". He says he doesnt know he got arrested afew days ago. So im just worried his phone was tapped and I just got him in more trouble:(

    Anyone know anything about this?

    Don't hold me to it, but I don't think taps are common practice. I wouldn't worry about it.

    I don't think you've got anything to worry about, I wouldn't call him again though to be safe.
