Do hippie guys hate women with makeup?

Okay... so I don't wear much makeup, just a tiny bit of eyeliner and mascara because my lashes are blonde, but never any more. No foundation or anything. It makes me feel much better about myself although I'm always trying to cut down even more on the amount I wear. I don't know if it actually matters, but I really like hippie guys, and I don't know if I put them off by wearing makeup, or if they actually prefer it (of course I'm generalising - all men are going to think differently)? Because if I'm honest, when I wear makeup I look a hell of a lot better than without it, and I don't look tarty or anything.
So I was wondering - is it like a hippie thing that MAKEUP IS EVIL?

i'm not about to instantly change because of what someone says... i just wanted some opinions because most guys i know only like you if you plaster your face in half of maybelline's makeup counter... (which is not something i do, lol) but i wanted to know if all guys are like that?

 

Certainly not. Makeup can be okay, but none is way cooler.

 

I personally (as a very natural and open guy) makes women look worse. If i'm gonna date u or whatever I'd rather see what u really are, not some superficial, mass-produced barbie doll image of u. JUST BE FREE

 

Makeup is not evil. People can be evil. If you like wearing makeup (feel more beautiful) than wear makeup.

 

I like being without makeup and with, and I have see hippies with make up, both men and women. Specially eyeliner.
I think one should put make up because they fel like nad think its funny, not because it is forced on one or to please soemone.

 

i hafta say i absolutely preffer without any but its a personal choice i just personaly like natural beauty
& makeup only hides true beauty

 

having confidence without makeup is sexier than an inch of plaster on your face.

I like using make up for fun, the color specially, like orange green and blue and white..
I like making indian masks once, it was funny too.
I think its no big deal anyway. Some wear so much its a plaster mask, thats true, but a bit of it can look both funny and pretty.

To answer your question as I think you meant it,most hippy guys will prefer you without it(I do) ,But whatever makes you feel better hunny,You do it.
Confidence and intelligence=sexy to me.

 

i went through a goth stage a few years back but the sexy hippie i was into looked right past it to the qualities we had in common and we totaly hit it off
so long as you are yourself, guys arnt going to pass you by because of your makeup. at least not any truly openminded ones.
im also of the opinion that women look the most beautiful and appealing without makeup of any sort, but i know thats not what you asked lol. just do whatever is you

 

I think REAL hippy guys wouldn't be detered... it's our choice and our THING and they should be open and loving and supportive about it.

I do my makeup like the Egyptians. And what about face paint? It's about expression, man.

 

I think that all men are different so u cannot ask if one "type" of guy totally hates something and I also think you sould do that makes YOU happy NOT what would makes others feel pleasure.

 

I personally prefer no makeup, and our beautiful friend Soaringeage said, it just hides the beauty of the face.

But I honestly won't judge anyone based on makeup use.

I will admit that seeing girls with excessive amounts of makeup usually makes me chuckle a bit.

haha i feel better with makeup on..so i wear it. anyone who doesnt like it, can kiss my ass!

of course, there is a different between makeup to "accentuate" your natural features, and just caking it on.

i mean my eyes are very small and beady, i think..so i put on mascara to open my eyes up and i wear cleopatra cat-eye liner style to widen my eyes...aint nothing wrong with that! haha. n of course i use foundation to cover up some pimples n bags n what not..

as long as u dont look like a COMPLETLY diff person without make up on, whats the big deal, yeah?

i agree with Vana..i love the egytpain eye makeup...n yes, it IS about expression!

so i think any guy who didnt like me cuz of my fuckin makeup...can get over it cuz i wudnt want him either haha.

 

I don't wear make-up either, just some little lipstick. I believe natural is best.

 

I almost never wear any makeup but sometimes i do, makeup's fun... you get to play around with colors...
tho I love doing people's make up more than putting it on me, but it still fun.
