Okay. Lately this has really been bothering me. I just turned 15 on July 22. And when people I don't know find that out, they totally freak out. Like, "ohmygosh! Really? I though you were (insert number 8-12 here)." I'm not usually one to get insecure, but do I really look 8-12? I'm tired of people thinking I'm a little girl! It seriously upsets me. Okay, you guys be COMPLETLEY honest! Do I REALLY look 8-12?
When I first saw your picture, I thought 12-ish, mainly because of the long hair. I don't know why, exactly, but people tend to associate very long hair with youth.

I don't know if I'd go as young as 8, but younger than 15. If it really bugs you, get some highlights and go with contacts. *shrug* I looked younger than I am for years and years, until I went with bright red hair. Now I'm going back to blonde and I'll probably look like I'm 16 again :/ whee for being ID'ed everywhere
Yeah it's true. Of course in the UK it's legal to buy them at 16. Aww *hugs* Totally feel your pain. I get that too. Was a psychic fair recently and thinking about getting a reading and the guy told me 'sorry you have to be over sixteen to get a reading'. So I said, well that's alright then as I'm NEARLY TWENTY! Figured he must be a pretty shit psychic then and didn't bother. Apparently we'll appreciate it in future.
