Do you? I've heard sooo many different opinions, some say that theres "one person" out there for everyone, and when you see them, then you just kinda know. Others say you can't fall in love with someone before you even meet or talk to them. Idk, i've always believed in love at first site, but lately..i'm just not so sure. Opinions?
No, I do not believe in love at first sight. Infatuation, yes. Lust, yes. True love? Nope. I believe true love takes time.
it depends. there is the possibility of having that connection with someone instantly but then again it can always be categorized as lust. so who knows, but love is love. its both amazing and terrible as a feeling. but we all want it.
what he said. lust is easy. and id ont believe in only 1 persone ver for you either, ie soul mates... there are lots of people that were compatible with
I dont know guys, I fell in love with morphine the first time I met her. And beer. But as for people, no I guess it takes time to know what love is all about. And I think initially there are more than one person who could be soulmate, but when you find one they can be the one forever. I dont know. Who really does? Everyone is different.
I dont think there could be love at first sight becuase you have to know someone before you can say you love them and mean it.
I think love can lead from mutual infatuation at first sight, surely 'love at first sight' is a tricky one though on one hand, to truly love someone you have to have some time to connect with them on the other hand, a dramatic romantic can easily make love in their own mind, life in the eye of the beholder so to speak
love being paradoxical ....in that its all about the right here and now , and all about the everywhere and the forever .....its all about the singular someone and the general everyone ....
its happened to me twice [in that it was mutual and that we spent years together afterwards , obvously as a dirty old man i fall in love at first sight 50 times a week ] , but i dont know if i believe in it ......
Nah, there isn't any such thing as "love at first sight". That's just a bullshit term they coined for movies and Hallmark cards. I believe in attraction at first sight, but true love takes time and experience. You can see someone but know nothing about them. Love at first sight is just falling in love with appearance; isn't love supposed to transcend looks? Love is sharing secrets and opinions and accepting someone for all their flaws, even loving them for those flaws. Love is a glance that says all you need to know. Love is being able to have a whole conversation without even opening your mouth. Love is much more than just appearance based. It's not how love looks, it's how love thinks.
