Do you believe in recarnation?

Do you believe that one day you'll be reborn in another life?
Just curious. I don't really believe in it but I think it's a cool idea

 

Yes.... Been there, done that.

 

I do. The history of the Dalai Lama rebirths since 1391 is pretty convincing.

 

I believe there's a component to us that transcends our physical bodies and seeks physical life experiences in order to express all aspects of itself in physical acts until its totality has been revealed, and then it returns to its source.

 

absolutely , we keep coming back in different bodies , it helps to grow our spirit so that we will become whole through the different experiances that we encounter .

Also it's a case of better luck next time for some people

Definitely. When you meet someone who is just so wise beyond their years you have to wonder how they came to be that way. I don't think a lifetime is always enough to gain so much.. I think I can tell a new soul from an old one. Lots of people probably can tell if they tried.

 

Reincarnation- yes, simply because there is a decent amount of evidence there is some sort of reincarnation system at work. But karma - no. The idea of karma is used in the east to say "If the secular police don't catch you, the universe will!"

 

Yes , I think we get some chose as to come back . To blance karma , to be with loved ones , ect . desert rat

 

Most definitely. I even have meditated back to past lives. You are what you feel closest to.

 

I do believe it. I always wonder what I was in my past lives. Or if we never remember them and just think out current life is the only one we know. Than my future life will be like this one, i wont know i lived this life and ill think that one is my only one. Sorry if you dont understand this i didnt really know how to word it

I can't say I believe in it unreservedly, but I certainly am open to the possibility. I do think that out of all the afterlife theories, reincarnation does make more sense to me than all the others, and the one that I think is most likely to be true if an afterlife does exist.

I've often wondered if the curse I've been forced to live with is a by-product of something that happened in a previous life. It is interesting to think that I may have lived before, and what forms I had in those lives...

 

We reincarnate in every moment. Neither the gross atoms and molecules of your body nor the subtler constituents of your thoughts and memories are the same as they were a year ago. The Universe is re-created in every moment.

Physical death is merely another transition of this kind.

 

I know for a fact I've lived on earth before. There are alternate realities too, and we visit those as well. We belong to soul-groups, and we meet up here and there throughout time.

When my daughter was 2½ years old she had a bad dream. When I went in to comfort her she told me about how she died and came back. She gave a pretty vivid description of a previous life, in terms no two-year-old could make up.

God (whatever one you believe in) wants us to learn and experience everything that he/she/it has created. We can't do that in one lifetime. We can't experience everything without being everything!

People tell me I have an old soul. When I was practicing Wicca I did a spell with a mirror and meditation to contact my spirit guide. I asked where my soul had been in past lives. I have two spirit guides, one is a wolf and the other is a dove. What I learned is that my soul IS very old. The furthest back I could see was in Egypt. It didn't tell me a whole lot, just an essence that my soul was in ancient Egypt, around the time of the pyramids. I also saw myself as a tree in a forest.

This is all open to criticism of course. You can say you don't believe it but I know what I saw and felt!

 

I've been here a few times before and other places too.
I have memories of lifetimes centuries ago.
Annoyingly though, I know the reason I'm here, I remember choosing to come, but I've never been able to do what needs doing, this time round is slightly different but I reckon it might take a few more lifetimes to complete, I'm more aware this time..
But I'm really fucking old and tired now.

When I was kid I read the novel The Reincarnation of Peter Proud and although it was a work of fiction it really opened up my eyes to the possibility and the potential consequences.

You see he was murdered by his wife and the visions he experienced in his new body 20 years later led him back to the scene of the crime. Once his ex-wife discovered who he really was she killed him again
