I'm curious to know how many people actually wear their seatbelt every time they're in the car..... I always do wear the seatbelt..
I do every time. I've been in a rolling car....if I hadn't had my seatbelt on I would have been very hurt....
Yes everytime, the thing is, I don't buckle up the proper way, it's too tight and burns my neck afterwards I end up with huge red marks (ultra-sensitive skin)! So I have my own lil way to buckle up: I let the top belt go under my armpit, instead of over my neck.
Every damn time. I broke my back and colar bone in a wreck. If I hadn't had my seatbelt on I would probably have been killed.
i feel naked without my seatbelt. plus my mum is a freak about safety so when i was little she would terrify me into wearing it. my parents would tell me that if i didnt wear my seatbelt coz im little id go flying through the front window screen and roll infront of the car and probably die. so yeh i wore it.
I got my driver's license rather late in life...only been driving for 14 yrs. For yrs after I got my license I "MADE" everyone wear a seat belt in any car that I was driving. Sometime during my 1st yr of driving, while my mother & I were heading to the store, she took her seatbelt off when the store got into view and I immediately slammed on the brakes. Mother started looking all around out the windows and asked why I stopped. I told her that I would start the car again as soon as she buckled up...she got out & walked the rest of the way to the store.
I don't wear it. Ever. Its my choice. Motorcyles don't have to wear helmets, they made that optional, so seatbelts should be too.
i said never... because never is a closer answer than sometimes... because its a very very rare occasions that i'll wear a seat belt... i cant remember the last time i wore one though...
NH state motto="Live Free or Die"...when I started driving I had the rule "Live free & die" meaning at if ya wanted to be free of seatbelts & take a chance of going thru the windsheild then yes that was your right but I had the right not to be responsible for it and the right not to watch it happen..
i usually wear a seat belt out of habit, the only times i dont really is if i am drunk and i cant manage to put it on...
sometimes i do, sometimes i don't. i always wear it on the highway. and i always wear it when there is a high flow of traffic and the possiblility of an accident is increased. but if i'm just driving around my community, i don't wear it.
I wear it every time I get in the car. Besides here in Georgia it's against the law to drive without it. Click it or Ticket.
its against the law here to not wear it too, but I don't care......Like I said, going through the windshield is my own personal choice.....not my governments
did anyone ever know anyone who was decapitated from a seatbelt? I do, and it wasn't because he didn't have it on right. He did everything he was supposed to with it, and the way the crash happened, it cut his head right off. Had he not been wearing it, he would have more than likely survived. also, what happens when your in your car, have your seatbelt on, you crash and the seatbelt saves your life. good, but now the car is on fire and the seatbelt won't unlatch. You're screwed now.
