I can hardly think of any times I'd feel guilty for being high while I was doing something.

I mean, I've smoked up 20 minutes before having a meeting with my pastor and smoked while my two year old cousin was downstairs eating while I was babysitting her (ended up puking that night because I got a virus from her and her sister).

The only thing I think I wouldn't smoke before is probably a funeral of someone close.

    Thoughts?

I know plenty of people who would WANT everyone to be getting high during their funeral.

Honestly man, I ain't the kind of person to be giving you advice on such things. In my opinion though, you shouldn't guilt ridden yourself over such manner which could easily be laughed off but at the same looked down upon as the source of all acts of hedonism that comes upon us. It's good to have a certain sense of discouragement over such things, but at the same time it's beyond you. I think you need to just take ito consideration as to what you want and what you feel is right. If another incident such as this occurs and you feel the slightest feeling of shame or guilt than you need to look inside you and question yourself on if you feel it's the right thing to do. Don't let anyone else judge you man, your only as good as you make others perceive you as, and only if thats what you really want. If anything envision yourself as that person, and see through their eyes and see how they feel about you and the use of the cannabis period.

It just depends on who you are.
Like the babysitting thing for instance. If smoking turns you into a lazy, don't-give-a-shit asshole, then you might not want to get high when you are supposed to be babysitting a 2 year old. But if you can smoke and still do all the things you need to do and not be angry about it, then what is there to feel guilty about?

    Easy, killer.

BTW I wasn't asking for advice. And I was saying I don't feel guilty, it's just maybe showing a lack of respect, and I don't think my emotions at the time would mesh well with weed.

Yeah. I don't feel guilty for that, and I do keep it together.

But do Y'ALL (Texan) feel guilty for anything?

Look man, if you ain't gonna be the least bit gracious and instead be a callous foul about it than you shouldn't be asking for peoples thoughts in the first place and instead keeping your problems to yourself rather than trying to get people to filter in on your issues. All I can do is put in my two cents and if you can't be mellow about what I have to give advise to, than why are you even asking randoms about this at all?

I gave my step-father a joint during his father's funeral. My step-dad used to smoke up a lot when he was younger and I thought it would help cheer him up. It seemed like it did because he became very talkative to everyone, lol=)

My step-dad is the type of person that see's the body as the shell for the soul, so he doesn't really care about rituals that seems to make no sense to him.

Feel guilty? I don't think so.
