Do you ever wonder what your life would be like if you never did drugs?

I always ask myself this question. Where would I be right now if I never started drugs? Since my current grades are in the A/B range (I have all normal level classes and one excellerated english class and i'm graduating early) I wonder how my grades would be if I never started drugs. Would I be in all accelerated/Ap classes? How would I dress walk, talk act? who would my friends be. Drugs make me confused.

 

I never really wondered about what life would be like without drugs. I know I wouldn't be as happy without marijuana, that's fucked up, but it's true. I know my ADHD symptoms have subsided quite a bit since I started toking, and that's a great thing. If I never smoked weed I never would have gotten kicked out of the Army but, then again, weed had a lot of influence on my decision to enlist in the first place. I would probably be lost without marijuana, and I'm alright with that, because I love weed and am planning on toking until I die.

I would have never started listening to metal and i would have asshole friends and bad grades.

 

to be honest, it would probably be alot better...

when i look at the people i started smoking with, their all fuckign dirt losers now, some who are 20, and still havent passed grade 11

maybe i would be in a better school, or be doing somthing more productive than i am now if i didnt start smoking...


but also alot of fun times with good friends have also come with smoking.

 

i would probably be a dick and call people mean names and urinate on squirrels and such

I think weed and other psych's have helped me to mature, and have made me a much better person...Its hard to explain, I think if I never did drugs, i would have been a different person but a worse person then I am now, having done those substances.

 

I would be sad. I honestly can say that having weed in my life makes it better. It's not that I can't live w/out it, it just evens me out. I used to be on all sorts of anti depressants and shit... one day me, my mom, and her friend went to the Renaissance Festival and I got high for the first time in several years. (I was 26 then) My mom told me later that day that it was the most normal she had seen me in years. So for me Marijuana is my anti depressant!

 

Actually, if I didn't start, I wouldn't have realized that to live outside of the law (to a slight extent) you have to say what people want to hear and be an honest person when it comes to things in general.

 

I might not have done nearly as well in school, or have a full scholarship...

Well I got to college every person I talked to said "Yeah I took 5 ap classes in highschool.....during my internship in the er......I started a volonteer service to teach children art....." And I thought, huh, so thats what I would be doing without drugs. Also I sometimes see highstrung guys and see what could have been if I took like too seriously.

But then again most people start smoking during years of big changes in personality, and life in general. So you wouldn't be the same as you were before smoking now, so you can't really compare it to anything.

 

i started when i was 19 so i know what it's like to be "drug free" and i have friends (turned acquaintances) that, for the most part, still are.

i shudder to think what i would be like if i never got into mind altering substances. i'm serious. it makes me cringe.

i'm pretty sure i'd be in the same type of situation i am now (as far as money and shit goes) but i'd be much more ...unfulfiled. i don't know what my plans would be though. it was pot and tripping and meeting hippies and stoners that made me realize that i don't have to be a part of the machine.

 

I used to be a cold hearted asshole, now I'm just an asshole (but stoner/hippy values have rubbed off on me enough to build a moral compass that I don't think I'd have otherwise)
but when faced with thoughts like this there is only one thing to do.

smoke another bowl and think about something else

hahaha. i started after high school. But i feel like it has defitinely help me mature alot. I mean, it was bound to happen, you know, get out of highg school and mature. But with a little help from pot, i've openeed not only my mind but my eyes to alot of things.
