i'm a pretty good mixture. growing up i looked more like my mom, but lately the dad traits have been making a bit of an appearance too.
Outer appearance looks clearly more like my mother... With my brother it is the exact opposite. I also have some obvious character traits from my mom but also some traits who are extremely typical of my father's side of the family.
Much more like my mom. My dad looked like me when he was younger, but he really changed (like, an entirely different ethnic background came out) as he aged, and it doesn't seem to be happening to me.
I look a lot like my mom but I got my dark hair from my dad. He died when I was little but from what I understand I'm a lot like him in temperament too. It's always been weird to me that so much of a persons personality is genetic
I look a lot like my mom. My sister does too. My half sister looks a lot like her mom. None of us girls look anything like my dad. All of my cousins on my dads side look like my dad's brothers/sisters. He has seven brothers and sisters. There are probably 25 cousins. We're the only ones who don't resemble that side of the fam.
I look like neither my mom or dad. I look like my Grandma on my mothers side. I got the weight problem from my Grandma on my dads side.
People tell me I look just like my mother - we have a lot of the same mannerisms and personality traits, yes, but I don't see the clear resemblance. I don't see my dad either but people tell me I look like him/his family, also. Needless to say, I got the "sexy" genes from both
When younger I tended to favour my fathers side of the family but as I matured I am more like my mothers side in looks. Rather odd that when you think about it.
When My Father Was 25 He Was As Bald As A Babys Bum, My Mother Had A Very High Forehead, All My Friends Said I Would Be Totally Bald Before I Reached 21, But Fortunatly My Moms Genes Shone Through, My Nose, And In Later Life, My Tummy, Belong To My Father.... Cheers Glen.
