I used to take FLINSTONES in the 80s.. AH THEY WERE SO GOOD!! They still have them now but i dont know if they taste AS GOOD as i remember then! http://flintstonesvitamins.com/complete
the formula for chewable really hasnt changes.. I have some flintsones and scooby doos, they taste the same.,..
They make some now that look like gummy bears (supposed to taste like candy too).. haven't tried them though, I take the generic ones that look like Centrum.
My mother is 90 yrs. old and she takes vitamens, different ones, according to what she thinks she needs - or is addressing right then. She takes NO other type of medication - not even blood pressure pills (which she might wind up having to take). Nah, I say that, but she'll just decide some type of additional supplement, food, and/or vitamen would help more. I took vitamens the entire time I was pregnant, then stopped almost immediately. WHY? I don't know...I take them in spurts now.
YES.!! I Take Two Natures Own Mega Potency Men's Multivitamin Caps Each Day. Tis Twice The Recommended Dose, But Since GLEN Is Single, And Sometimes Too Damn Lazy To Cook For Himself, He Partakes Of More Than The Occasional Takeout And Wine To Wash It Down.... I Tell Myself This Balances My Diet..... Cheers Glen.
I have to 'cause I'm vegetarian, and I barely eat, so I take vitamins to get all the stuff that food would give me, I have to take 6 a day or something, quite annoying.
I've read from various sources that most vitamins are pointless to take. They don't metabolize properly when taken in pill form..it has something to do with vitamins needing to metabolize with food. I have a magazine around here somewhere with a pretty in depth article as to why its unneccessary to take vitamins, i'll try to find it and post some of the points on here. I can't really remember much of it, but it was a pretty interesting read.
Yes and UUGGHH i hate those The original and best are the ones i like! (The ones i had in the 70s and 80s (Flinstones mostly))
i eat a cereal everyday fortified in vitamins, really dont need to eat them, may be harmful due to the fact 25% or more is in the cereal and I completely eat one full box within a 12hr period..
No I do not take any commercial vitamins. I am really mindful of what I cook and eat so I really do not feel that I require any. So far, so good.
A healthy, well balanced, organic diet should give you all your daily vitamin needs. Also, an unhealthy, processed food diet gives you the same because most processed foods are infused with vitamins. I think that was the main point the article I referenced earlier was trying to make.....if you live in an industrialized, wealthy nation you're going to get your vitamin needs from food so theres no point in taking vitamin supplements.
Hell yeah!! Im a junkie in those sorts of ways...I'll try any pill that I think will benefit me. I never try those weight-loss or such pills so those are out of the questions. This is what I take daily; - Vit B multi (B1 thiamin, B2 riboflavin, B6 pyridoxine, B12, Biotin, Folic acid) - Beta-Carotene - Flaxseed Oil - Vegetal Silica (2%horsetail) - Biotin, L-cystine, Horsetail, Bamboo, Inositol.. all in one - Vit C - d3
If there's vitamins in, I'll normally take them but I won't ever buy them cos they don't really seem to do anything.
