what's up with Acuvue? I used to wear contacts but have gone to glasses now. If I had the money I'd do both as it's nice to be glasses free at times.
I only wear contacts on a night out with mate, it stops wankers wanting to argue with me. Its true. I'm not what I'd call rich though! I soaked my contacts in optrex the other day coz I'd left my proper stuff at work. My god that hurt when I put them back in. Burning like for about 2 hours. Anyway, yeah, why's acuview bad? Dunno what make mine are.
Yes, I found something better with less hours, but for same amount of money, which means I have more time to teach.
I used to always try to buy Baush and Lomb as they were from my hometown. However, their products are also about 2x as expensive as everyone else's. I think the contacts I used to have were Acuvue however. I thought you were going to tell us they were killing babies to make the contact lenses or something.
I suffered the pain and annoyance of contact lenses for a few years until I realised there's absolutely nothing wrong with glasses about 99% of the time...
Yep I wear contacts, nope they're not Acuvue They're B&L Purevision Torics.. fuckin awesome, I only have to take em out once a month. Rocks for lazy people like me. And nay, whereabouts in J&J vision did you work? If it was the order line I may've spoken to you once or twice (I work for an opticians). Ever speak to anyone from ER Dixon ltd? That was more than likely me (if 'twas a bloke). EDIT: don't buy Complete Aquavision, they suck. Plus their solution is contaminated with Atherosomething bacteria.. give you atherosomething keratitis, nasty NASTY infection that makes you go blind. if you wanna go blind just drink some meths or something. Skimpot, I think optrex is a 2-step solution.. what you soaked your lenses in was probably hydrogen peroxide; no wonder it hurt! Ya need the neutralising solution as well.
