For 2 years now I have been using protein shakes to replace two meals each day and doing a strength routine with weights 3 times a week. The shakes supply 30 gms of protein for 160 calories. . That has made a remarkable and measurable difference. Adults loose about 10% of their strength each decade after age 30. But not me. I have doubled by strength in that period. Iron weights do not lie. And my body weight has not changed from a lean 140 lbs. Any experience out there?.
I've been taking Premier Protein shakes (30 g Protein / 160 cal.), One 11 oz bottle per day for the last 5 months. My doctor suggested getting one with minimum sugar. This one has only one gram of sugar per bottle. At 6'4", I am much too thin at 170 lbs. I need to get to about 185 lbs or more.
Suggest goatrope you go to two shakes per day. I use Premier protein as well and enjoy the chocolate/peanut flavor. Yes agree you are too thin.
