Does Mercury retrograde suck, or what?!

i know i should be bothered more by the outer planets going retro, as their cycles last the longest, but man, mercury retrograde drives me bonkers!

seems like every time i turn around, there's another mercury retro (because there is, i know, lol) - i have to spend all my time giving people the benefit of the doubt about what they think and say, try not to let it get to me when the mail runs late, messages aren't received, troubles with my car, etc.

arrrrrrghhhh!!!!!!

yes. i have a whole book on mercury retrograde...my natal mercury is retrograde and i live with it everday....but according to progressions this period only lasts so long and it has been noted by astrologers that people who have been introverted for sometime in their lives have experienced progressions of their mercury to direct and all the sudden become talkative and outspoken and social. vice versa

i realize your talking about the three retrogrades per year, no?
yes im not a huge fan of them either. certainly effects my personal communication abilities, AND everything else...delays delays delays....but we see so many material afflictions like cars adn mail and all that because society has become so material....mercury retrograde is truly meant as a means of reflection and soiltude for our minds ...a way to go back over our thought processes and re-evaluate the lessons we should be learning with our natal transits adn progressions....

 

im sure if we looked hard enough we could see effects of mercury retrograde in nature and patterns in animals!! but we're too busy with the material.

 

i can dig what you're saying about materialism, but i was talking more about communication and thought processes

even if we were not as materialistic, i bet during merc retro we'd still have trouble with our moody mule that we rode every day, hehe

i think that mercury retrograde is kinda lost on alot of people tho, bc they are more focused on the fax machine getting jammed, and the reports that were late, but this is just me ranting!
