I'm downloading a film...but I want it asap. It feels like viewing the HF would slow this process. Is that right or wrong?
I doubt it'll slow it down too much, maybe a few minutes, depends how long your on em for and how many pages you click on really.
Thanks guys. I'm downloading the New Star Trek film. I'm not on EM at the moment...don't plan on being on it tonight. I don't click on that many pages, really. Perhaps about 50 an hour. I've not downloaded a film before this one - shocking I know. Because I have to use a dongle - that is probably the main reason it is taking an Ice age...but I wanted to maximise the time...so I could - fingers crossed - watch it tonight. Knowing my look it will end up being a Steven Segal film. Fail.
My friend has already downloaded it. He said it is not a cam version. I'll send my version if you want.
You dont get anything other than "cam" versions untill it hits dvd. Unless a critic copy gets out, which happens. The studios now use steganography to ID the critics selling them.
A little bit. You'll notice that downloading will slow hipforums much more. The loss will probably be negligible for downloading.
