This guy is bugging me, i think he is pretty dumb and lying but he says his doctor perscribed him to take the following: "15 mg vicodin 200mg darvocet 800mg ibuprofen 200mg asprin" for a tooth ache????! Doesnt that seem REAL extreme, and isnt ibuprofen and asprin the same damn thing? and isnt there APAP in vicodins too? so thats a LOT of APAP (acep whatever it is) just sounds like he is lying about it, i'm curious if this is like deadly or for real?
It's a remote possibility. But it would have to involve like four impacted/infected wisdom teeth. Even then thats excessive. While possible, its highly improbable . . . Perhaps if its after a nasty procedure hes starting on the vikes for a day or two. Then hes supposed to go off the vikes and on to the darvs, then off the darvs after a few days, then down to the ib800's and so on . . . While rediculously complicated, this is the only somewhat rational explanation i can think of . . .
the above sounds probable - the meds are to step down from. but its also possible that teh doctor was just a dumbshit like lots of GP's and gave him plenty of meds. but what hes got there is not deadly. if he took it all at once it wouldnt be that healthy, and if he took it many tiems over a period it may be harsh on his liver but you can take 800mg ibuprofen, 200mg asprin, and 500mg paracetamol without having any problems
aspirin will help the heart and thin the blood. Iboprofn is good for anti anflamatory problems../..now when it come to vocodin and darvocet..bother not be together., They both do the same thing.
asprin wont necessarily help with anything, in fact it asprin and ibuprofen can be bad after oral surgery because blood cant clot, but with teeth i guess they plug off the blood supply after taking the teeth out
If the pain is so bad to need all of those medications, the doc should prescribe oxycontin or ms contin, or something else of equal strength
I was also thinking about that. When i had my wisdom teeth out they warned me repeatedly not to take asprin because then the sockets would likley start bleeding again . . .
