nope, but it makes you stupid for smoking all those cancer sticks in the first place :p

You should make a sequel, except this time flush all of your remaining unsmoked cigarettes, then celebrate by smoking some nice bud :2thumbsup:

I never understood how people got addicted to cigarettes... If you just don't buy them you can't smoke them, wouldn't that be easy? or whenever you start to get that craving, just smoke some weed instead? Once you're baked i'm sure you'll care less about a cigarette, but maybe not... i've never smoked cigarettes so i wouldn't know i guess.

I smoked tobacco once though by mistake, i was smoking a joint with a few friends and the entire time i was thinking to myself how different it tasted... then half way through my friend mentioned how it was a spliff, and i was thinking like "ohfuck, this is like half a cigarette! Shit, now i can't say i've never smoked tobacco..." people really need to inform others of what they're smoking beforehand... and i didn't want to be that one pussy that passes my turn because of a little tobacco... so i had to finish it *sigh* lol

I smoked cigs for 30 yrs and quit 3/16/2008. I LOVE(D) to smoke...LOVE feeling the drawing of the smoke into my lungs and blowing it out. Smoking (cigs) was an all-purpose drug for me...it would wake me up when I was dead tired and could help me calm down when I was upset.

I quit because this little voice in my head told me that my lower jaw/teeth would quit hurting if I quit smoking. NOT having pain is a great and wonderful incentive for me.

I quit within 2 days of hearing my little voice - and it totally worked! Go figure. But...
all that being said...I will always miss my cigs, even tho' I've never smoked another one.

Edit - and let it be known I was NEVER one of those ppl that said they didn't know why they kept smoking, they didn't like it...bla bla bla. I loved smoking until the last draw I had off of the last one.

My gf is on the gum now.. Mayo Clinic has a program that hooks her up with free nicotine gum and she talks to a counselor once every couple weeks over the phone.. they mainly just give her pointers and answer any questions she may have while quitting.. it's going really well...

My daddy was on pills for about a week and he stopped. Never had another again. He says he hasn't quit yet, just hasn't had one for 4 years. XD

When i was smoking cigs and had a hard time quitting i had to find an example to get my willpower up in shape. Ive always been able to overcome something when i saw the result of other people.

These people were my aunt (who died of lung cancer after fighting it for two years, she also smoked for 40 years!!!) and someone i worked with and have known for 15 years. He has cancer in every part of his body now including his brain and watching him fall apart in the last two years is really amazing. Its very sad....but its a huge wakeup call for a lot of us.

Sad that people or ourselves have to get hurt for us to realize we probably shouldnt be doing something...

Also social pressure is constant wether we realize it or not...and its a motherfucker.

I already admitted i knew nothing on the subject, seeing as how i've never smoked nor would i ever smoke. I was only saying that i personally thought it would be much easier than people say, for those people who actually dislike smoking at least. You can't smoke something you don't have, can you? So don't buy them, sure you'll feel like shit for a while and i'm sure it'll be hell, but imagine how much better you'll feel after that?

For those of you who want to quit, why don't you just take a week off work using your vacation time (if you have that), then replace all of your cigarettes with joints... and whenever you get a craving, get really really baked and find some good food... then you won't even care about a cigarette! And just do that every day for a week... then once you go that entire week without smoking a cigarette... shouldn't it be easy to just not smoke another? I've heard that once you get the past few days it's easier?

Unless weed makes you crave cigarettes more? I don't know, like how you get the munchies with food? Then that wouldn't work at all i guess lol
