The more my tolerance has grown to OC, it seems like it doesn't last as long. Even when I blow a lot, like noddin out a lot, it doesnt last as long as it used to. The higher your tolerance the shorter the duration of the high?
before i had a tolerance i could eat a couple of percs and be high for hours now i dont even feel my 100 mg of done i get everyday
its the same shit for me too. it lasts barely any length of time compared to the 5 to 6 hour fucked up ness i would get off of hydrocodone and only like 35 mg. now its IV heroin to feel okay and prevent withdrawals. fuck that shit. ive been on a break for a week tomorrow and hopefully i can make it longer so that this tolerance shit can go down.
to answer ur question, of course dude. tolerance not only makes you have to use more dope to achieve the same high, but also reduced its effects including potency and duration because as you abuse the shit, you body becomes used to it, immune so-to-say.
Yes, I agree with this about the tolerance going up as time goes by. I do not use opiates for recreational use but the same holds true for its effectiveness in treating chronic pain. I take 500mg of Morphine Sulfate Extended release and also (6) 15mg roxicodone's a day and most likely this should kill my pain but seeing I have been on this since like 2004 daily , I no longer get the full effects for pain relief. I did get good pain relief when I was taking Methadone 40mg four times a day, however they outlawed that dosage for pain relief, as it is only allowed in the dose of 40mg four times a day in rehab or methadone clinics for addicts. I really miss the pain relief I got from Methadone. Tolerance sucks for us all.
