does waiting in line

at the grocery store annoy you too?? especially for a long amount of time??? you have a couple of items (no other registers open) and you are waiting on some lady who has a bunch of items that dont ring up properly and a bunch of coupons.......

thats one of the reasons why i hate shopping. i can't stand the lines there. i can't stand lines period.

I read the stupid trashy magazines in the line.

 

Lines annoy me in general, but sometimes they're good for meeting people in.

 

really long lines, yeah. If it's only a couple feet deep, or the customers ahead of me are awful and bitchy and just as rude as they can be, I feel sorry for the cashier. If the slowness is solely due to the cashier, well, that makes me grumpy.

The worst is when there's no cashier there and there are like five people in line. That happens at the shoppers drug mart in my mall ALL the time, it's driving me craaaaaaaazy

 

I hate to say it, but I occupy my time with the shite magazines whilst waiting for the slow people, as well.

 

I am a waitress, so I deal with the public; I feel sorry for the cashier that a situation like this would happen to, because she's the one getting blamed for everything. There are jerks in this world, and some people just don't know what they want...just have patience; don't wish your life away.

 

sometimes it's the cashiers fault, sometimes it's the stores fault for time consuming policies and sometimes it's the person in lines fault


but the cashier is getting paid to do it, and assumedly paid to do it quickly...


I think that is the cause of the bitterness...

 

yes i hate waiting in lines. I hate the grocery store. Those are the two things I dislike the most grocery shopping and lines (the kind you have to wait in heh)

 

I thought lines at our grocery store were bad then they built a Walmart.

 

At the Wal-Mart in my area, they have 1 line for people to buy cigarettes in. So if all you want is smokes then you end up in a loooong line of people with full carts. With the holiday season upon us, there probably won't ever be enough cashiers working either...hate it when, the store is crowded and some manager comes up to tell the cashier to go on their break and they end up closing 1 cash register until the break is over instead of having the manager take over to help move the lines.

in any case... waiting in lines at the grocery store used to bug me a lot more then they do not. somehow i have become a much more patient person.... eh, so doesnt really bug me unless im in a bad mood or late for something to begin with.

where you scan your own groceries... its so much faster unless you have some moron dragging a cart filled of groceries to the u-scan...haha, it takes all kinds..
