does yer patch come off easy?

I wear the patch and two fridays ago it came completely off of my hip area..i was out of town for 3 days and didnt have another which fucked my whole cycle up, when i got back i put a new one on but im still not back to normal but anyways...mine always slides a bit..liek every single one ive had has had the actual sticky part slide away from the colored patch...i dunno

has anyone else had this happen...im trying it on my sholder this time but i hate that cause i love wearing tank tops and get to many questions about it...

so does anyone elses patch come off easy?

No I still have the gum on my stomach from when I took it off last Sunday.
It kinda hurts ripping off too.
I have it on my shoulder right now and I really like it there- I don't notice it.
Mine usually comes a little unstuck barely around the edges, but mostly the entire thing stays on.

 

The last I went and saw my gyno, which was about a month ago I asked about the patch (i'm on the pill now) and she said she wasn't recommending it to her patients anymore because of reports like yours. You should probably talk to your doctor and get their advice.

the best place for it is the butt it sticks there very well

 

but if you get it too far over then well for me at least it gets rubbed off

 

when i tried the patch the damn thing NEVER stayed on. I would put it on and it would be off in a few hours. Plus, I heard about two mamas dying from blood clots related to using the patch.

 

A couple months ago, I started the patch on the day of my period. That (heavy) period lasted for an entire month. That was hell, so I wouldn't recommend the patch. I went through one cycle and stopped. It contains 60% more estrogen than the pill, which also makes the risks a lot higher. Mine did come off a few times too, I always wore them on my butt. There was also always a lot of sticky residue that was annoying and gross. And that all sucked because I haven't yet been able to get any other birth control, should have just went on the pill.

 

I used the patch for two months. It was awful. Anyways, when I tried to take it off, it hurt like fuck and left a lovely black, sticky rim around where the patch was. It looked horrible. I'd never put myself through that hell, again.:$
