I went back to using Dr. Bronner's soap about a month ago. Previously, I was using a different castile soap, which was a bit cheaper, but the store I go to stopped carrying it for some reason. So now I am using Dr. Bronner's again. It's a great soap. I pretty much use it for everything -- not just showering but laundry as well. It's not cheap, but it's a damn good soap. I was wondering, what is everyone's favorite? I was using the lavender, but yesterday I bought some of the peppermint, which I haven't tried yet.
i buy unscented and sometimes mix it with varoius essential oils. My family likes the baby soap also!
You know you can dilute dr. bronners right??? I like hemp best I've never found it expensive...one of the cheaper organic soaps probably. But a really great company whose gone fair trade working with the hemp seed company nutiva to develop fair trade facilities in certain countries. Dr. Bronners+Nutiva also sued the FDA a while back when they tryed to make hemp illegal...and they won too.
Peppermint for warm weather (that cooling tingle sucks in a 55 degree or less bathroom) babymild (which is the unscented) with my own EO blends for cool weather.
DON"T DRINK SOAP! DILUTE! DILUTE! OK! i love bronner's. hey rat, since you're in rochester, do you have a problem with hard water? i tried using it before i moved, and the hard water casued it to leave this nasty residue all over everything. it turned my socks grey in the laundry. i could remove the gunk from my hair with a vinegar rinse, but had to give it up when i dreaded. (i use sunflower's shampoo bars now.) baking soda in the laundry followed by vinegar in the rinse helped the grey sock problem. just wondering if you'd had similar problems. i prefer the lavender, too btw. i use lavender essential oil to fight germs & freshen the place up when cleaning.
I'm a fan of the almond and the lavender for my dreads and my body! And for the mood lifting labels. I love Dr. Bronner's too!
never used bronner, I use Bee and Fkower Sandalwood by default, but I like to try out sandalwood soaps
my husband and i use dr. bronner's eucalyptus soap in the shower and as our laundry detergent. i really love it. ^_^ iwould prefer lavender but he likes eucalyptus and i got to choose our hand soap (kiss my face) so it evens out.
My favorite plain soap is Kirk's castille bar. It's cheap, but wonderful. As for my favorite Dr. Bronner's soap, I'd have to say it's a tie between lavender/baby.
Pour some of the peppermint soap into your hot bath water for a first rate experience. You'll come out smelling divine. x
tea tree, sometimes lavender or almond, didnt like the pepermint much and if u dilute it properly, its really cheap, its only expensive if u dont dilute the way u should
nope. I have issues with soaps and hard water too. Vinegar rinses/ lemon water fix it, and I wash the shower with baking soda then vinegar.
