Dr. Oz - Talking about medical marijuana

Anyone else see this? I caught the last half and good God, I hate people! Atleast some people know the truth (Montel!) and there are still people lying.

This one lady was saying how crime and youth use was increased in communities with medical buds.

Isn't weed use on the rise in the whole fucking world? I just can't even put into words how fucking stupid some of these people are.

who could think supporting mexican cartels producing lowgrade blood-money cannabis is better than a decriminalized regulated highgrade domestic crop that would generate taxable revenue .

 

Evidently our congress and religious people. Too much money involved with the "drug war" keeping people employed.

He seemed relatively objective. He also had Andrew Weil on his show. I'd think that if he and his sponsors were that against medical cannabis, they'd never have those two people on the show.

 

That's the thing. All the drugs other then pot do not create a large enough user base to justify the huge drug budget. That's why they have to make it the poster child of the drug war.

Many people just abuse the medical card system anyway, let's just make it legal to buy at 7-11 like a pack of Camels and be done with it

Recreational smoking, It's just like abusing medications, strangly reminiscent of Bob Saget at an NA meeting,would be prosecutable without a medical card....Who knows ...if all 48 went medical ?

I live in MI and medical is legal here. I recently took an alternative health class, alternative healing strategies. The instructor also happened to work for the state with CPS and he hates MM. According to him, schools are now referring more kids to them because of MM-the parents aren't being careful with their stash and the kids are getting into it. I say, it's not the MM that is the problem, but the negligent parents not keeping their stash safe from the kids.

I found it odd that he was ok with herbal remedies, meditation, acupuncture, hypnosis, etc but not POT! Last I checked, marijuana is natural. So what's the difference, really? Just stupid laws enforced stupidly. Of course it shouldn't be in the hands of minors..but don't blame the law.
