I was planning on buying one.. but then i decieded i would be left with a obsolete piece of equipment [video part] within a short space of time. I bought a DVD recorder though... oh my dad has one of those i wanted Gh0sTiNnyc to fork out for.. but he does not have the series on tape [or i would have asked HIM]. Logisticaly and financialy i believe my proposition is the best option.. i think 1/3 retail price mmm possibly 1/5 retail price is fair.. What do you think ? If you do that.. and then i do the same.. how on earth are we supposed to have a sensible conversation ?. P.s i am far to expensive to be bought- but offers are always open to negotiation.
I am sorry but I haven't got the faintest clue what you're on about. But I do have one of those VHS DVD recorder thingys cos the way i see it, they only last a couple of years anyway You don't want to know how many DVD players/recorders/computers (you get the idea) you need in a house where you've got kids. I talk to my 4 year old on MSN messenger. That can't be healthy can it? Sensible conversation? How are you today? Good Easter? etc. etc.

Sorry to stray off the subject a bit. Can anyone tell me if the theme tune is the same? Have they made a remix? Are the lyrics still the same msytifying whine: "a-oo-oooo...oo-oooo...oo-oo-oo-oo-oooo-oo-oo (The last two "oo"s are semi-quavers.)
Thanks Jerry. Out of all the SF TV tunes the Dr. Who one is my favourite. In particular the one they used for the Tom Baker series (who also happens to be my favourite Doctor ressuerection). Not forgetting his metal labrador K-9
I like the obscure episodes from the wiped-tapes of entire series!. The only remaining episodes of 'The Dalek's Masterplan' 1965,& the only surviving episode of 'The Evil of the Daleks' 1967.Scary.
I've heard about this, bu thave never seen it. Are you reffering to the episodes where whole generations were watching the TV, hiding behind the armchair out of fear? What is it about Daleks that made them scary when we were sprogs? I think it's that mechanical voice. The undeterred robot that can't be reasoned with. A parent who will not compromise the administering of punishment. I'd like to ask, in the new episodes, have the Daleks found a way to climb stairs, or do they still need ramps?
I would like to see the original series I only saw one part of the daleks kind of cool how the series were made back then realy lifelike....
