Dreaded opinion on Racism

I'm asking you dreadheaded people for your opinion as the majority of people in other forums are a little shit at life.

Heres a real life scenario for you all that happened to me the couple of weeks back. Do you think this was racist or not?

Me and a bunch of mates decided to play murder in the dark for old time lulz.
(Murder in the dark = hide and seek in dark room[whoever is found last wins]). Anywho we were having a good time playing it.. however after 11 rounds I noticed this one guy kept on winning. Which baffled me.. he didn't even have a good hiding position... but miraciously no-one could find him.

Finally it struck me... he had an advantage over EVERYONE else. He was a black man lets call him Kanye for the time being.

Hows this an advantage Sir.Enjoy? Well darker skined/black people have a significant advantage in the dark as their skin blends better with the darkness.

So I got the balls to bring this issue up with everyone and I said something like
"Listen guys, Kanye here is cheating.... his skin colour is far to advanced for this game... he blends so well.. us whites don't stand a chance at murder in the dark"

this caused an uproar though... people started getting angry that I brought what they percieved as racism into a game of murder in the dark. So after copping an earful we continued on. And as predicted Kayne won.

So I suggested that Kanye wears a white headband or attach torches to his elbows to even it out. Or atleast let me wear sunnies to cover the whites of my eyes.

Anyway.. I ended up getting kicked out the game for being a racist.

But I don't think I was being racist.....

e.g. -if we were playing murder in the snow Kanye would be FUCKED you'd be able to spot him like no-bodies buisness-

I think people are so quick to get offended by mentioning skin colour these days its ridiculous.
Its a fact that some skin is darker than others I think its stupid were not allowed to talk about it and if do we are called racist.

It's not racist, but there was no point in bringing it up. So what if he kept winning the game? You can still see a black person in the dark if you get close enough. Not to mention their teeth usually give them away.

It's racist to even point out that people are different, let alone suggest that some are inferior/superior - the real definition of the word.

 

I don't find it racist at all. I find it hard to believe that it is racist to point out a very distinct visual difference in different ethnic origins.

In a college school photo I have of my clas, there is my good friend that is black sitting on a black couch... all you see are his eyes and teeth and all other students are around him... looks like a big empty space just with teeth and eyes. He is the one that brought it up... it honestly looked hilarious. It was like he was our ghost student. lol Is it racist to point out a distinct difference? Nope. Is it racist to make someone feel uncomfortable because of that difference, yes. You weren't making anyone feel uncomfortable, you were simply stating a fact.

Naw, but what you did wasn't racist. But was he wearing all black? Even if he had dark skin, the clothes would have evened it out.

This is so true. I notice that black guys will often look at me with a glare of contempt or resentment, for something that I've never done. But when a white person stares at them it's called a hate stare. Double standard. I just feel that the whole divide and unspoken tension is f-kin bullshit. I never hated or enslaved any black people, nor has any reasonable person alive today, so they should stop playing the 'hate/we were once slaves' card. It's no longer relevant. They're treated well, as well as anyone else. Enough is enough. I think the OP was perfectly in line.

 

I doubt smoking weed will solve the issue, but nah, i wouldnt call that racism

wasn't racist. just a statement. like if you had said 'my white skin really glows in the dark, so i'm totally shitty at this game' everyone would have been fine with it. but since it was a 'minority', racist card gets pulled. politically correct is the name of the game, and we're all screwed by it.

 

I probablly would've made the same comments you made enjoy. I dont think it's racist....its the truth and it's hillarious. People need to lighten up more.
