I saw a dude do that at a place in Minneapolis...I'm too chicken to do it the real way, so if I ever get them, that's how I'll do it. :) They're easier to take out, right? He said you just pull a string or something... he was cute. :)

Back when I had dreads (I miss them so- cut em to find a job like 6 months ago, still no job) I just got a few bags of fake hair, threaded a few strands thru a tapestry needle and stitched it thru the dread, looked fab, had a flock of hair-braiders grab me so they get a better look at how I'd done it, but I'm in the Detroit area and we've got several beauty shops that only do braids and locks. I've met a few members of P-Funk, my uncle was a road manager for em in the 80's and early 90's- Blackbird crashed at my granny's house for a couple weeks, super nifty guy, left wads of multi-colored hair in the shower drain, but a nifty guy all the same. I was like 10, but I got the stitching idea from what I remember his (and a few other P-Funker's) hair being like, but I think they had wool roving or something like that sewn thru. Never lend them your videos though, it'll be 2 tours later before you get it back.
