Are wool, synthetic, or human hair extensions best? I don't mean for fake dreadlocks I mean to add to your dreads to make them longer. :) Thanks!

I think Human hair would be better, but they're really expensive, so are there any downsides to the other two?

    Human hair :)
than you just care for them like you would you own hair.
Plus I think itd be healthier for your hair to have real hair in it and not synthetic

Human hair. It's expensive compared to synth, but it's worth it. If you're planning on having your locks for awhile, it's not something I would recommend cheaping out on. It will dread up into your own hair and like peaceandknots said, you can treat it like you would your own hair.

Synth dreads have a short shelf life. I believe they are only suppose to be in a few weeks at a time before replaced for a new set. I'm not sure about wool, but I would guess it's somewhere between the other two.
