Ridiculous. The government is slowly taking away the ability for citizens to feed and sustain themselves and make healthy food choices. This really concerns me.

We will soon be forbidden to grow our own vegetables, they are already Altering our seeds. And yes Air, as soon as they find a way to claim it. We are being forced to go along with their agenda which is total control over every aspect of our lives as they make executive decisions behind closed doors without our consent or knowledge.

I wonder how we all managed to be here before all these regulations came into being.

I use to go visit my neighbor who has a Dairy and get raw milk to make my butter and cheese with but now he is not allowed to sell me raw milk bc he would be fined or imprisoned. I can still get Goat's milk but I am sure they will ban that too soon :(

I did not realize that it was something worth defending, meaning the banning of raw milk consumption.

    It was a joke.

I am all for raw milk drinking. In fact, it's the only way dairy should be consumed (IMO).

To my point of view, it's just another means of controlling us. Unless we sell it to you, you can't have it, grow it or make it. That is the issue.

That's the thing PR, they are taking whatever we can do for ourselves and forcing us to by their stuff, by paying off the politicians so they will pass laws to prohibit ppl from doing anything for themselves.

just for the sake of argument

I live on a farm and when we pick out a chicken, hog or whatever to slaughter, we first isolate them and take all their duties away from them and feed and water them to fatten them up and then when they are nice and plump, thinking they were so special as to have all the food, water and light they wanted without lifting a claw we kill them and eat them. It just gives me visuals of that being done to us.

There is undoubtedly more to the story than Mr Ron Paul is letting on.

Selling raw milk in California is legal – if you have a license. But there’s a movement among cow owners who are producing unpasteurized milk without one. State food safety officials are trying to figure out how to deal with them.

Raw milk produced by the Kimberton Farms Dairy and distributed by the four-store Kimberton Whole Foods is making people sick with “severe gastro enteric symptoms,” Pennsylvania’s Chester County Health Department announced...
The department said Kimberton Whole Foods has removed the raw milk products from its shelves in Kimberton and Downingtown.

Anyone experiencing diarrhea, vomiting, bloody stool and /or abdominal pain within two weeks of drinking raw milk is urged to contact a physician. Anyone with raw milk from the Kimberton Farms Dairy should dispose of it immediately.

Retail stores pulled the raw milk from their shelves after county health officials asked them to take the action.

Retail sales of raw milk are legal in Pennsylvania. State law requires that any raw milk sold in the state come from cows certified by the Agriculture Department as being in good physical condition and disease-free. Cows must be tested for brucellosis and tuberculosis at least once a year and milk is tested for bacterial limits.

By the looks of it not all raw milk is safe to drink. What would you do if you made somebody sick?

I guess if you are willing to take the risk, so be it - I can see both points of view (the overall health of the population/freedom of choice).

Oh, I see. Where public health/safety is concerned I can see their point. I don't think there should be a free for all.
There are just some regulations you question and others you probably wouldn't.

    Odon,

I am all for health and safety and I agree that the milk cows should be healthy of course.

Our livestock has to be inspected and tested if we sell them and I would expect and demand healthy animals if I purchased them.

After all the over processing, all the Life Force is killed off and it's empty calories and has synthetic additives that are harmful to life.

It is then a product for big corporations to claim as their own and charge you and tax you to death or fine and or jail your poor ass untill you give them what they want, and that is POWER over you.

Don't get me started.. jumping down off the soapbox :)
