I was recently in an accident involving 5 cars, every car was totalled. And non of it was my fault. And I am okay now. But i was sent to the hospital in an ambulance were they took a urine sample and the only thing that i would think i would be for was to see if there was any drugs in my system. And being a regular smoker something should of shown up. Should i be worried or what was it for?
it could be to check if you're having any kind of bleeding thats not your period thats not really visible to the naked eye, or to make sure theres no other damage. but there still is a good chance that they could check for drugs and if you're a regular toker, and you used your own piss and didn't bleach it or dilute it, well that sucks really badly.
The ole "rear-ender" eh? They stick you with a ticket regardless of the ahole that hit you and pushed your car into another. SOP. More than likely they were just checking for health reasons and I am not sure if the police are allowed access to any doctor's info.
I think its for health reasons to be honest. I was involved in a freaking atv accident and they did the same thing.
Usually they will take pee for a pregnancy test...no one died, so there will be no toxicology tests. They can check for internal damage through urine...and also find out if you are pregnant in case you all of a sudden took a turn for the worse and they needed to act...surgery, whatever. You would be surprised how many women lie about the pregnancy thing at the ER.
i didnt get any tickets or anything just a lot of $ for my car and i didnt have to pay for anything cause it wasnt my fault. the bitch that hit me paid for my medical bills and everything. thanks for the answers
You'll be safe, as long as they cant prove you were on drugs at the time of the accident then you can just say the drugs were from before.
