does anyone know of any drum circles in new jersey/ new york areas? i really want to hear some good drums and be around some kynd folks. thanks guys. peace & hugs~
there's a small music festival called porkstock coming up. it's in western new york. there is always a huge drum circle there but it doesn't sound very good. everyone is too messed up. you probably don't wanna haul all the way out here but if you do, pm me or something.
Rainbow family has potluck gatherings in NYC every month that sometimes have good drumcircles. The best are at the more well attended gatherings such as the central park picnic in may. Visit www.nyrainbow.org to stay posted.

is it totally stupid of me to assume that these circles and festivals often cater to the mind altering experience? either way im interested in the drum circles, i've been a percussionist for quite a while now, however i've never participated in a drum circle
