Has anyone found that the classical opiates tend to linger the whole day if somone does them in the morning.Codeine seems to do that and i asume morphine and heroin would to? Kratom on the other hand lasts about 2-3 hours and then you are completly sober. Has anyone found it to be so,or is this just a question of enymes?How are other opiates/opioids compared to this?
When you take opiates for a long period of time, the duration seems to shorten every single time you take them. I have never had an opiate last a whole day, consider yourself lucky. Especially if you can even get a buzz off codeine, it's possibly the weakest opiate out there. Most people barely feel anything from them. Basically the same as taking a Darvocet, IMO.
same here.. when i do like 80mg of oxy, ill feel it for like 45 minutes to an hour, but the initial buzz lasts about 35 minutes.. and WTF is up u4ia havent seen u around in a bit..
it last much longer than 45 minutes for me thank god, but its never gone over 3 hours, referring to oxy. Tramadol and poppy pod tea last for 6+ hours.
Yes I agree that the longer you are on opiates of the more often you take them the shorter they last so to speak..I remember when a couple percs would have me going for a few hours. Now I have to crush up 3 or 4 oxy 20's (thats what I get) to get a decent nod going. So I've decided to stop for a couple weeks and get my tolerance down. Hopefully that helps a bit.
The reason that Oxycodone is so short-acting is because after about 2 and a half hours, half of the Oxycodone starts to eliminate from your body. In about 3 hours, you will have half of the dose you took leftover in your body. I hate the fact that Oxy has such a short half-life.
Damn, I wasnt aware its BA was that low.. Is there a method other than IV that would be more effective than snorting OC?
I've been able to feel slight effects for hours after the actual high which for me lasts about 4 hours.
Seems that poppy alcaloids of which codeine is one last longer.Yes,i must be lucky... codeine lasts the whole day,not a nod or any euphoria but a feeling of sweet numbness,just enough so that if you look for it you see it... On the other hand kratom was pretty disapointing,it's great while it lasts but come on...i am high for about 1 1/2-2 hours...and no sweet numbness???
When I snorted 60mg of oxy with a low tolerance it lasted around 4 hours... I'm lucky The euphoric peak comes somewhere around the hour mark for me. However, the analgesic peak hits me pretty fast. Last time I did a line of 40mg it still lasted about 2.5 hours until I could no longer feel it. I had done it a few days in a row then... so that goes to show that tolerance affects duration, as previously stated
